Cylindrical gears
APPLICATION
These reducers are used as mechanical devices for manual or electro-mechanical drive of pipe shutters or as pre-gears for worm gearboxes.
If the worm gearbox cannot reduce the closing speed of the pipe shutter sufficiently or if the available amount of input torque cannot be increased by the worm gearbox to the amount of output torque required to open and close the pipe shutter, then a suitable cylindrical gearbox is installed in front of the worm gearbox.
